McKay Nilson is a multidisciplinary designer based in New York City. With a formal education in design thinking, his work ranges from consumer products to installations, spaces, homewares, and lighting.

As a designer at School House NYC, his work is focused on creating story-driven spaces and experiences for the most influential brands in the beauty and lifestyle industries.

In his personal practice, he continues to collaborate with various partners as he explores provocative ideas and forms through homewares and lighting. He approaches his projects with an awareness of rationality combined with a desire to understand our emotional relationship with physical objects.
